How do you roll-call dormitories?

After the update 15 dorms fix, assigning a guard by a dorm's door, assigning to the room itself, or patrolling the room, all do not catch tunneling. Hallway patrolling still works fine and catches tunneling for single cells. After +100 game days I didn't catch a single dorm tunneling, although there were plenty (good things snipers do their job )
