Help - There are no canteens accessible by this cell

Greetings:

I am new to Prison Architect. I have built a prison, put a fence around it, and then build a holding cell, kitchen and canteen. My prisoners arrived, and they do not go cell. The cell says "There are no canteens accessible by this cell" I do not see any holes in my fence, so I do not believe that is the issue.

Super frustrating, and is turning me off on what I thought would be a fun game.

It doesnt look like you have a gate to the entrance you your prison, which is possibly causing the issues - can you upload a picture of your deployment screen?

BTW you're going to get LOADS of contraband thrown over the front wall of your prison (Contraband can be "Thrown" 10 squares from the outer wall of your prison....)
