1) The only brand new feature i'd really like to see is "human" guards (or even staff as well). Tons of people have asked for guards with traits/characteristics just like the prisoners. Prisoners act like "humans" while guards/staff feel robotic, dedicated to do only a few things. At least guards should have names and characteristics so we can have corruption/abuse of power in-game etc.
This should have been in the game pre-1.0 in my opinion and it's a more important feature than climate/temparature or even female prisons. This would add so much depth and extra difficulty in the game, extending its replayability even further.
2)This is personal but from what i've seen plenty of other people as well, want the console UI/HUD + the menus and all the fancy graphics that the console version will get. Like it or not, the PC version UI feels outdated and negatively simple and even unmanageable at times. It feels like it's been ages since the UI got updated and I feel like the post-1.0 version (or the 2.0 ver.) should look much better. No shame in using something functional and beautiful like Double Eleven's UI/HUD. It really made the game looked fresh and polished while the PC version (unfortunately) still looks like it's in development and completely dull.
3)Staff's stamina and staff spawns. The stamina is very problematic in my opinion. Workmen or any other type of staff do 1-2 things, they get tired and then they rest for like half an hour. Make them more realistic like working 9-5 (at least the workmen) or make them work for like a 6-8 hours straight and then they get home or rest in the corresponding (new type?) room. Maybe have staff quarters, with beds and all kinds of luxuries for them. About spawns now, spawning staff out of the blue, wherever you feel like it, is not only unrealistic but super lame, because you can just spawn 5 guards with a few clicks and save a bad situation or something similar. It rewards sloppy players instead of calculated and controlled, thinking-ahead kind of gameplay that serious PA players enjoy.
4) The clone tool is incredible but still needs some work. First of all, make it so we can copy much bigger structures. I know there might be performance concerns (especially for the consoles) but after hundreds of hours doing the same things, it gets boring so we need to be able to build a prison much faster and the clone tool is possibly the most useful tool if you know what you're doing. You could even extend the clone tool to work for the utilities as well, for example water pipe lines etc.
5) Kitchen ratios are too high but i'm not sure (i'm not a chef or anything). You need so many cooks/cookers/fridges for just 150-200 prisoners. I haven't build a huge prison yet but i can only imagine what happens if you have 500+ prisoners...I was in the army for a while and we had tons of food, 3 times a day and there were less than 15 cooks that prepared food for almost 500 soldiers. Also you could have industrial-grade cookers/ovens that can prepare huge amounts of food for hundreds of people, same for fridges and sinks.
6) Proper alignment with other objects and rooms and fully rotatable items. I don't think this is hard to fix and many people want this since the Alpha. Please fix this, my ocd hurts so much!
I'd say that my first 3 points are much more important and I'd love to see some kind of implementation of them but the game is great as is. If any of these topics have been brought up in the past or there is a reason why any of the above features are not in the game (or won't be anytime soon) please inform me. Anyway, keep up the good work lads, you did a fine job and thanks for bringing such a unique game to life!
