After the launch of the new patch, My worker takes all the woods from the workshop and store it in export, wood that needed to be used in the workshop for the prisoner to create furniture. When i cut down woods in the forest they take add the new pile of wood to export.
This is not functioning right if one needs the workshop up and running and the prisoner needs something to do.. Please change it as fast as possible

Re: bug in Export of wood
I haven't tried update 3 yet, but are there any functioning carpenters tables in the workshop? If not, the game will assume that it's more economical to sell the wood as-is since you have no means of producing it further. If you want to stockpile it for when you do have carpenters, you'll need to remove the export zone to override this behavior.
The alternative here is that there could be a new bug that needs reporting on Mantis.

Re: bug in Export of wood
mm Interesting. Yesterday I made my first carpenter workshop after 100 hours of play, so I cant tell if this worked before or not... Almost all the logs go to export zone, while the carpenter workshop (10 saws, 10 carpenter tables, 1 press for the reqs) is full of metal. I also have another workshop for license plates (10 saws, 10 presses), not sure if this is interfering in the wood delivery behavior.

I have the same problem after update 3. Previously a mixture of wood, licence plates and beds were exported but now the workers are emptying the workshops of logs to take to export which is leaving the prisoners with too few logs to cut.

Re: bug in Export of wood
There's definitely something a big strange going on here with logs being taken directly to the exports. This was with a few carpenter's tables set up. I removed the exports and tried it again when I had a very mature prison. I haven't seen one log go to exports, and I don't think the workshop machinery has changed. Only aspect I can think of is perhaps the game calculates what the prison's potential wood processing is, and sells the excess. In my case my earlier prison probably had less than 20 available workers who passed the course, and anywhere between 0 and 2 qualified for carpenter work.
