So, basically you want to spam someone for not doing something against spamming?

Beside the logical flaws I see here, I don't think this will solve the issue. Sure, the spam is annoying, but don't you think Introversion is personally interested in stopping this? They will work that out.

Oh, and btw: A twitter account can be shut down temporarily, if the owner of said account wishes to do so. I would do this, if you spam my account and Introversion surely knows this, too.

It's sadly quite typical these days for game companies to ignore their own forums in favor of the social networking sites, due to the comparative extra exposure. But if I was a game company and felt that way I would actually close down my forums rather than risk having them turned into a disgrace.

No, actually, I imagine it could work quite well. 90% of the time when you tweet a popular twitter account, it gets buried under other tweets, so technically spamming someone big is A. a way to actually get them to see it, and B. a way to show necessity, if many users all tweet at them. Personally interested in stopping this? It's spam, they don't even know about it or it'd be gone by now. It's not that difficult to deal with.
I highly doubt even the angriest of mobs shouting "fix your shit!" would make them remove their twitter temporarily.
