Hey everyone,
I'm just wondering if the Bug where a guard who's monitoring a remote door leaves his post and his REPLACEMENT is stuck behind a remote door thereby shutting down alllll the remote doors has been fixed???
Cheers,

Re: Remote Door Bug
The Mantis bug entry can be found here: http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=5439. Or at least one of the several entries.
Quick answer: No, it has not be "fixed".
In my opinion, at least part of the reason it has not been fixed is that there are several viable workarounds, and not everyone really considers it to be a bug.
It seems crazy to set up a security room that can *only* be accessed through a door that can *only* be opened via a control located inside that room. I use jail doors and servos instead of remote doors because jail doors can be opened with a key.

This is not a bug, it's working as designed.

Well you have then a bad prison design, thats your fault not the fault of the game. Maybe you could install some pressure plates at front of your doorcontrols and if nobody stands there you'll open the doors to the security rooms

I never said the Security room had remote doors.
If I have remote doors for the Cell Block and the guard who's going to the Security room is IN the Cell Block then that seems like a bug to me...

Re: Remote Door Bug
just set more than one door control to each servo, problem fixed.

That's a good workaround. But the game should select the next replacement for the security room based on their ability to get to the room itself.
