Resolution fails

Postby vv7 » Sat Sep 05, 2015 8:24 pm

Hey all,
Recently when I started my copy of this game (Bought on Steam) my monitor said that he's on 170HZ frequency, which my monitor can't recognize ...

So .. I changed resolution (In file "~/appdata/local/introversion/prison*/prefs.txt") to 1280x720 all works, but ... this resolution isn't normal.
I started game, changed res. to auto, same problem.

So ... could you help me ?
This game is rly great, thx for your help ... dude.

Two things that may help:

First, verify the integrity of the game cache under Steam (find Prion Architect in your Steam library, right-click on it and select properties, select local files tab, click on Verify the Integrity of Game Cache).

If that doesn't fix things, make certain your video drivers are up to date.

Also, try closing any other programs you're running before your start PA.

If none of that helps, post a bug on Mantis, giving details of your hardware and OS.

Thx for your reply.

I made all your suggestions ... nothing helps ...

All others games starts normally, especially CS:GO or Crysis 3 ... same GTA V. So, I think this is just PA's bug which should be fixed.

Ok. You need to fill out a bug report on Mantis.

There are instructions for accessing the Mantis bug tracker on the Developer's Forum:
http://forums.introversion.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=17925

If you don't have access to the Developer's forum, see:
http://forums.introversion.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=17453

Don't be intimidated by the "Developers" forum. Everyone buying the early access version is considered a "developer".
