Sniper Towers and Different Wardens

Are sniper/guard towers ever actually going to be implemented? I got this game around 25 alphas ago and they are still yet to make an appearance (not including mods) despite the description of the yard saying that they should be in the game. To balance the tower it could be made so that only armed guards can go into them. Obviously when they are in there their shotgun is replaced by a rifle and they are invincible (except to gunfire) because they are on a raised platform but obviously cannot move around, this would make the towers very expensive to keep lots off them manned as armed guards are very expensive. AND OR normal guards that require training (which is a long and expensive process, could also apply to armed guards) and when they go into the tower they get a rifle and are invincible (except to gunfire) but cant move around, engage with prisoners (such as arrest or transport them). The towers could also be (very) expensive to construct and or allow only one guard in them at a time to balance them (if they are unbalanced). Sniper/guard towers are the No.1 thing I've wanted in this game since it was released and I fear they may never make an appearance.

Also, one of the tiers for the game was to create a different warden that would have an ability. Are these ever going to be implemented or were they cancelled? I was really looking forward to different wardens that actually have an ability rather than just allowing unlocking of other staff.

Any thoughts or improvements or just general comments?

EDIT (POTENTIAL SPOILER): In one of the latest interviews they had, it revealed that different wardens will be available in 1.0.

I hope they implement the different types of wardens (I think they will). They can add so much the the game and could make the warden very interesting.

Remember that the devs have said that there will continue to be monthly updates even after the initial release. They just won't be alpha updates.

I have been playing since Alpha 7, Love the game, it's the most hours I have in any steam game, but I can't help but feel they are rushing the release. Unless they had a whole bunch of features they have been holding out on. I mean the game doesn't have a title screen yet.

Yeah right now I feel like the warden is probably the most useless staff you can hire (although necessary) as he serves no actual purpose. I also agree they do also feel like they are rushing the release, because people always make an example of them as a never ending Early Access title, and imo I feel like they want to stop it. Either that or they are getting bored with their game, which after so many years is kind of understandable, just not ideal :(
