Hi, I've noticed two bugs since alpha 34 dropped. The first is that when constructing a foundation as a part of an existing building the game has gotten real picky about what counts as an "entrance". It can have a door and it still doesn't seem to want to count it. I think if the door would enter the inside of the building it doesn't seem to count.
The second is that your guards are not escorting prisoners properly from solitary as they used to do. They open the door and the prisoners wander out, even if they are in protective custody... and the solitary building is not. Sometimes the solitary doors open because it's time to eat or work, just like a normal cell door.
Sorry this is in the wrong spot, I can't post in the right one.

Hi,
First thanks for this game, because that's a pleasure to play to a game which is updated every months ! (even is it's just the "Alpha")
I think that there is an other bug with gang members sentenced to death : They don't want to do their Death Row Appeal, is that normal ? (I know that Gang Members don't apply to any programs, but this one have to be an exeption ?)
Thanks for answer !

Similar problem with solitary : Once a prisoner is legitimately taken to solitary and serves out his punishment there, he treats the solitary cell as his personal cell - being let out for meals and work, and going back. He won't leave until manually assigned a cell, and the cell is considered to be occupied so no one can use it for punishment. I'm running a prison I built with the funds from my Alpha 33 prison.

I am wondering why this game is still in alpha after years and over 10 millions of funding.

It is still in alpha because it isn't done yet. If your question is "Why isn't it done yet after 3 years and millions in funding?" the answer is that the development team is very small, and no matter how many millions of dollars you through at a small development team, there is only so much that they can do. For reference, you should look at the time that Minecraft spent in alpha and beta, and also note that, in many ways, Minecraft could be considered a more simple game to develop (no complicated AI to worry about).

I've noticed three. Armed guards just stay in place after going off shift and don't get tired. No one signs up for carpentry, and if you're able to get a shop working, the cashier can work outside. So mail was fixed, shops and gangs implemented. For those keeping score at home: Programmers: 3, Bugs: 3.

A slightly more accurate count can probably be found on the Mantis tracker.
