how do i stop the game from crashing?

the game crashes before the construction guys get off the bus about 5 seconds in it always crashed by the time I have 23:55 left till prisoners arrive

I need help im eager to get this fixed so I can play the damn game!

running win 8.1
amd radeon r9 290x (upto date)
tried re installing, verifying cache on steam
pausing unpausing changing save time

My game also started crashing in alpha 33. Never happened before, I've played since around alpha 12, allot.

Omg my game has crashed three times today.
It never did this before the new update. I have the steam version.
I cant find any answers to this. Is it an update problem? I've played 55+ hours of this game and never crashed until today. I also have Radeon AMD R9 200 series. Also updated daily **

I played a lot on this savegame. Also the auto-savegame does not work.

I've been having the same problem. I got the game at alpha 31 and never had crashing issues until alpha 33. I usually can mess around in my prison for less than a minute before the game freezes and crashes. :\

There is currently a known bug where mail satchels will crash the game. This is of course not the case when loading a new game though. I would recommend contacting support if your game crashes the moment it starts: http://support.introversion.co.uk/
