How I can rearrange/move around furniture once I have already placed it? :S Currently I just have to destroy it and then buy another one. (alpha 30)

And i guess my extension any objects that can be moved around in real life should be able to move around the game.

For example fridges, sinks, bookshelfs, toilets, etc.

Sometimes when you want to reorganize the room or shrink it, you have to naturally rearrange the furniture you've placed.

If you dismantle objects they will be moved to your storage. When you rebuild them, they are taken from your storage and don't cost you anything.

If you dump objects they are trashed.

hmm ok thanks bud. i think an implementation like the sims where you can just drag and rearrange furniture objects would be a more userfriendly approach.

I would really like to have the ability to move/relocate furniture items instead of dismantling them and build them again  . Especailly useful when you resize offices/kitchens or even cells.

Yes, it's less efficient to dismantle and reassemble because you typically get one worker to dismantle, then another one later to move to storage, then another to bring one out of storage, and a fourth to reassemble. If any small item that could actually be moved by one person was allowed to be moved in one task, that would be more realistic and less annoying for the player. For larger items let the game send two workers but still just one task.
