Chefs stopped cooking!

I have two times in a day where prisoners are supposed to eat but each time the hefs just sit there in the kitchen and do nothing. I have 90 prisoners and a cell for each of them not sure if that matters and I've tried firing and rehiring chefs/moving the kitchen/replacing the cookers/fridges/and sinks to no avail. Help

Without a pic it's hard to help... Do you have the cantine properly set up? And linked the cells/cell block to the cantine?

just ignore the right side of the pic, didn't know how to take a pic of just my main screen. But yeah the prisoners head to the canteen during meal time it's just the chefs don't cook at all and just chill at the kitchen. The kitchen used to be in that area below the canteen but i tried moving it out in the open to see if it would fix to no avail. I've also tried dumping the food in the freezers but they end up just getting replaced and being unused again

Hmmm... I don't see why it shouldn't work. Can you post the Logistic/Food Distribution-view?

In the food distrubition view, there should be connections between your cell blocks and canteen like the one you have between the canteen and kitchen. But, there isn't any connection. So there isn't any prisoner that linked to canteen and of course no demand for meals...

The reason of your problem is that you don't have any cell blocks!!!!

Cell block is a closed (defined) areas that consist cells. But in your prison, your cells are opening directly to the canteen, chapel and other social spaces. You should use doors!!! and define your cell block area.

You could try to right-click on the canteen's green symbol. That should reset the connections. Maybe that helps to connect the single cells to the canteen.

That fixed it I added doors and made sections to the prison and now the chefs are cooking again thanks!
