Hopefully most of the really pesky bugs are cleaned up, along with hopefully not too many new ones brought in.

Pretty curious what features are coming though, people seem to be anticipating gangs, but I'm not feeling it this alpha. We'll see, though!

Lots of anticipation. I have no idea.. It seems like every month they throw a curveball and my guess is way off.

I'm hoping that the game starts coming together more.. as of right now I feel like I have to design my prison around its disabilities so to speak.

I really want more control over the staff or for now the guards. Perhaps in the profile for each guard you can set what shift they are on (morning, afternoon, evening or night) then an hour before each shift the staff start to arrive for that shift so having 50 guards spread across the 3 or 4 shifts doesn't mean you have 50 guards stationed within your prison at all times and adds more to the balance with income verses expenditure. In fact adding to shifts I would also like to see more work done in general with staff. Not all your staff will abide by the rules, so some might be dodgy and for example during shakedowns or cell searches they might place some contraband but rather than place it to be found place as a payment of some kind for doing something for them. The you scratch my back i'll scratch yours kind of thing, the dodgy guards might reveal information about inmates on each wing information such as CI's, snitches and ex-law enforcement and go as far as turn their backs on the inmates when in a room with such people so they can hurt or kill them (this could be wear CCTV plays its role, used to show the truth of what went down) Rather than replaying what happened though the data is used automatically and sentences increased as normal just the CCTV is what allowed for that to happen (if no CCTV is present in the room or over watching the room then no data can be used so no one can be punished accordingly in less a guard or member of staff see's them). So yeah I would like to see more micromanagement elements for guards and having to watch your guards just as much as the prisoners.

I wouldnt mind adding some psychology items to it:

example 1):
Dominance: scale 1-10
Leadership: scale 1-10
Prisoner1: D4, L5
Prisoner2: D8, L3

P2 will try to dominate P1 80% of the time who accepts it 60% of the time due to dominance
P2 will try to lead P1 30% of the time for a joined action, who declines it 40% of the time due to dominance
P2 actions will be diverted by P1 50% of the time due to leadership
This would result in:
P2 dominance over P1: 80% x 60% x 50% = 24%
P2 leadership over P1: 30% x 40% x 50% = 6%
P2 clashing with P1: 80% x 60% x 30% x 50% = 7,2%

So P2 bullies P1 four times more often than he tells him what to do and bullies P1 three times more often than he would end up fighting with P1.

etc.

edit
ofc, P2 might be just someone with "solves things mostly without fighting" and P1 might be "solves everything with a fight" ......

ehm, forgot 1 thing to add to previous post: the player role in it ...

the game function would be to allow players to selectively place prisoners in different cells to minimize bullying, fights, and whatever else might result from the addition.
So the depth of the game would increase.

I like the idea but feel its to micromanagement intensive which is what the dev team are trying to avoid which is the very reason why we the player don't get a say in the parole hearing.
