Whats the biggest prison you have built?

Mine is 996 (cells) 1260 prisoners - trying to make a 2000 Max security monster now.

500 but I prefer to keep the game at 30 - 40 fps and have a smaller map.

it does slow down a bit but i was wondering if its even possible. I plan to build it empty and then edit save file to send 2000 prisoners!

I'm trying (and failing currently) with my 688 prisoner load...I want to get it to about 800 or so, but thee Max-sec inmates aren't playing nicely together. I've had five riots so far...although, truth be told.. I'm trying to push them to their limit, and see how much abuse they can take...I also have a separate save (of the same prison) where I've made them ungodly happen, and thus far, no riots have broken out...

I wanted to play the same one both ways, just to see what would happen under different conditions.

so far every big prison has crashed but i will crack it - its harder than i thought keeping game stable and adding loads of prisoners.

but i will crack it - then im gonna make em riot and take all the tazers away!

Ok I got a 1283 cell mega prison on the go now and its not running too slowly at 1103 inmates.

got a 755 capacity, maximum and normal security prison, which ich want to build out to at least a 1000. but the lag is getting quite serious now...
got all the extras included like programs, exports, double perimeter walls, extra security doors for lockdown etc. but my laundry system is not working very well, guess i'm doing something wrong.

I have a 1224 capacity max sec going now that has over 1200 prisoners at any given moment. I'm in the process of expanding to 1800 capacity. I'm thinking of making the new prisoners normal sec so that I can take advantage of the split regime for food/work purposes.

200 (just over or under depending on whether you're counting cells or overall capacity) Max Sec. About to add another 96 cells, they just need furnishing so I'll do that today.

I currently have 2670 prisoners in a 45x60 holding cell. It only took me ~120 hours to get to this point (takes ~30 minutes for a new group of prisoners to arrive).

• Virtually no basic needs are met.
• 101 janitors can't keep the one holding cell clean
• 33 prisoners have been released.
• Paul Levers has currently served 163.2 years and counting! (thanks for your service Paul)
• Benches aren't as popular as I imagined

Yea, suppression is totally op, as is that there isn't some huge effect when a need is not met at all.
No food? They should starve.
No hygiene / dirty clothes? Everyone close should try to get away, incl guards.

you just leave them all handcuffed and collect the money? rofl

at that point you might as well just be editing the save file and giving yourself the cash though since you arent really playing, your just kinda watching
