Introversion

Does anybody know what is going into the upcoming update and/or updates or is it just "oh.. we have been working on this.." each update?

Pretty much it's a surprise with each update. Sometimes on the alpha videos we'll get hints at future features, but not much else.

will it be released tomorrow?

Hopefully, we'll be in Alpha 21 sometime this week. Patience.

RGeezy911: For what it is worth, a request to advocate for bugs on the tracker was posted recently---perhaps the next version is going to feature some major bugfixes?

mcglone: IV have fairly consistently released new versions every month or so, generally near the end of the month. If I were a betting man, I would put money on a new alpha coming out in the next three or four days. That being said, alphas tend to drop when IV are ready to release them, generally without much pre-release fanfare. In short, a new version is likely to be out soon, but the exact release date is "when IV release it".

I'm not sure, xander. They put up that video on the 21st, so maybe this release will have a lot of minor fixes, or a few serious fixes.

It will be a very welcomed surprise to see a laundry list of fixes in the coming release, but I'll still be content with whatever new features they may have.

Hopefully they optimize a little bit more, so there is less lag when you get a bunch of prisoners. I hit lag around 120 total staff/prisoners

First off the Wizards are not coming as they had a major bug that makes it hard to implement right now. But they are putting in the Ranger; for testing.

And then in Alpha 21, there is an A-L-P-H-A and then there is the numbers 2 and 1. That's it.

I hope they got cats working this update! Can't have a good game without cats.

On a serious side though, I'm really curious because they had deviant upload behaviour this month. Usually they update the steamdb three or four days before a new alpha and then wait another month but I saw that they updated the database several times a day all month. Might be the bugfixes
