So I've gotten a laptop, and I don't know if the processor is good enough to play prison architect. Its an AMD APU A8 4500m. Its a laptop processor, but it is a quad core with 1.9 Ghz up to 2.8. I was wondering if It could run prison architect as it does not go up to 2.8 all the time.
Thanks for taking time to read this.

With respect to your CPU question, it'll probably be fine. A more show-stopping concern is whether it'll work with your laptop's graphics card

I was able to make the game work with a 6 years old AMD laptop which features a 2x2GHz dual core processor, so you should be on the safe side.

FurySnipes,
I'm currently running Prison Architect fine on a Core 2 Duo @2.00GHz. You should definitely be able to run it. Filtering may cause you to lag, though. I know it did for me.
From one person with a slow computer to another, I personally recommend game-debate.com. I discovered it a while back, and it's very helpful for benchmarking graphics cards and processors minimum system requirements for all sorts of games.
I hope this information is helpful!
