STEAM SUMMER SALE price drop?

There is a lot of noise on reddit about PA having a sale on Steam. However, this game is the most successful project released by Introversion (i believe) and it has not even launched yet. Also the high alpha price was to weed out the people who would be upset buying the uncompleted game and only get the people who knew it was an alpha and were committed to the alpha (can anyone give me a source on this, i read it but cant find it). Both of those reasons make a Steam sale unlikely to me, and I wouldnt be happy with a sale to be honest.

thoughts?

I highly doubt it as it is still an incomplete game, and they are using all of the funds they get to go toward it's development. Highly unlikely.

The hell is a "reddit" and why should anyone care.

Also, for anyone who cares, Edna Valley Vineyards makes a pretty good chardonnay. It is sweet, which is rather unexpected (and not normally to my taste), yet also rather oaky and smokey. Not super amazing, but pretty good for $15.

I hope they don[t. It would undermine the stated goals of the price-point of this alpha, and frankly I think it would just cause a lot of animosity with those users who have been insulting the game and developers for a lower price point, especially since they will get to crow for a 'victory' on the price.

ps: In case you missed it, PA is on summer sale - at a whopping $3 off, which in my day would buy a dozen onions for your belt.

I'm constantly surprised by how much I need to buy a game I'll never play at a discounted price, for fear I'll not buy it later at a higher price.
