Does Meal Variety and Quantity Affect The Food Need At All?

Postby god_chris » Sun Jun 30, 2013 5:27 pm

Hi all, titel says it all really, does it really make a difference on whether there is lots of the food or little of it on the prisoners tray's? I had my finance cap on today thinking about ways i could make my prison even more efficient and profitable now that i can completely disregard some of their needs  so does it actually make a difference? as in would i need to schedule another meal time in because the portions would be smaller? or could i just have one meal if i set it to high quantity?

Quantity does indeed matter, variety doesn't seem to though.

I'd rather not splitting free time too often because it takes time to get em back to work. Stick with balanced food like before.

variety and quantity both affect the price per prisoner of meals, variety much more so than quantity does for instance, on low quantity and high variety you're paying $10 a head, per prisoner to feed them, conversely with meal quantity on high and variety on none (the polar opposite) you're only paying $3 per prisoner meal a day.
