change how your prisoners are punished

so i just got alpha 10 its great but i was wondering if there is a away you can change how your prisoners are punished and for how long even if one would need to mod files is it even possible?

You can literally make anything happen with mods. You could have ponies fly in and kill all the prisoners is you want.

You can't really. It very much depends on how much of the internals are made available to the modder. Some games are written with modding in mind, others aren't.

For example, The Pony Massacre Mod won't be possible until more of the internals are exposed (be it through release of source-code, or whatever).
