How does TPB say it in his own words?

(we used to have a nice graph here, but it's simpler to just say: 0 torrents has been removed, and 0 torrents will ever be removed.

Will not change anything.

You make the program requireing a key? You will see that a keygen is out soon.
You make the program requireing to be connected to a master-server while the game is played? You will see a server emulator soon, hosts.ics will be edited (server ip = 127.0.0.1).

You fill lawsuits against anyone that does that? Better use that money for the game, instead of throwing it out the window with no effect.

Do you see a way to keep pirates out?

I think the fantastic sales figures for a the game (while merely in Alpha) show that it is and will do well regardless of a few people grabbing it for free. why waste resources on a pointless chase when they could be continuing to improve the game.

Piracy is here to stay. (and no the peple voting "no" are probably not people who torrented it but people who are smart enough to know its pointless)

It makes perfect sense. Someone all about the booze, booty and wenches would certainly want the Physical Pleasures.

Arr, aye. Matter of fact, your wenchin' avatar pic will keep me warm on many a cold night at sea.

In Holland, Pirate Bay is blocked for everyone. So yeah, what's this Pirate Bay you're talking about?

Speaking of which, we should get an Alcatraz level with only very limited space, surrounded by water (So escaping should be nigh impossible as well)

I never said that it was blocked and anyone even minorly interested in pirating couldn't get to it.

Didn't a single ISP's DNS block once black out YouTube worldwide for a few hours?

Well there a lot proxies that you can use if they your ISP has blocked TPB. I use http://piratebaybypass.co/ to bypass the blocking.

I did not think one could crack PA because it is shipped as a zip file from the devs. In addition this is alpha each build is in complete and buggy and has no way to verify the legality of a copy. If pirate bay allows one person to reach out to 10 people who have a 50% chance of buying retail, then why not put it on PBay? That would be 5 (five) future buyers who only download a copy of a buggy version. I understand that people dump huge amounts of money into their purchase but they get physical items and get put into the game. Those can not be pirated, sorry. The only chance of negating illegal copies is to offer some form of subscription where you have to log into a central server and verify your name and software license.

With this current product it would be near impossible to stop PBay users. I think the devs should put every version that is 2 versions removed from the latest release on PBay to help increase traffic to there product, at least until they leave Alpha.

Disclaimer: I do not use Pirate Bay, i think its evil, but with out evil how can one justify Righteousness.

I voted no because this is the most retarded idea I've heard of this week.

If the big game companies failed to succeed, then why do you think you will succeed? You won't.

But on the other hand, you people who pirate games, sure, understandable. But one day some big game company will be ruined by it. And no longer will you be able to buy, nor download their games because they can't make them.

I dont see people throwing fits because they paid $60 for Black ops 2 and thats on pirate bay. I dont see people throwing fits because they paid $60 for Far Cry 3 and that's on pirate bay. Do I need to keep going?

It will NOT be fair. Deal with it.

Ceramic wrote:So as you all have seen/downloaded/heard that P.A is in Pirate Bay? Before playing Prison Architect you used to download cracked P.A? Well screw you. I haven't downloaded the cracked Prison Architect. I was just wondering that if Introversion could file a lawsuit at Pirate Bay because maybe 100's of thousands of people have the cracked version right now and that's not fair is it? We spent 30-1000$ and then here comes some kids with free Prison-Architect without paying $30. Sucks right? Tell me what you think

You don't have any illegal software, game, music or whatsoever on your computer?

I payed for PA and i don't care if it is on Pirate Bay. Of course it is on Pirate Bay.
