Nearest is better?

Do prisoners use the nearest facilty when they need the toilet etc? I seem to get prisoners waiting by my holding cell to go for a poo. Considering they have their own cell it seemed a little odd!

not entirely sure if there is any sort of prefrance system in place at the moment if there is it seems pretty irrational atleast
if prisoners have their own cells though they do tend to use their own toilet - although i did one time have a prisoner who during free time walked from his own cell to his buddy's cell (who was currently sleeping) to borrow the toilet and then walked back to his own cell to have a nap

actually think i also had someone visit someone elses cell just to take a nap .. prisoners are weird

So they have toilets in their cells and their going to the holding cell for a crp? Wow thats new xD never happened to me. But i suggest More cells and turn the holding cell into a kennel or... i dont know anything really.

I've seen that behavior too. It was supposed to be fixed at some point but I guess it got broken again since then... That's why bugfixing should always come as the final step in software development, because things will always get broken by new features and you'll have to fix stuff over and over again otherwise xD

for the most part they do seem to go to closest facility but i have seen a prisoner leave his cell ...go to another cell block and use someone else toilet..so i think it might just be random

For the most part, prisoners should still be using the toilets in their individual cells, assuming they're assigned one. As previously stated, there are some exceptions (bugs) were this doesn't seem to happen. In my case, I have nearly a 100 prisoners stream past a holding cell with toilets in order to return to their own toilet.

Would be nice if you could post some screenshots so we can better classify the bug. Perhaps it's related to some specific element of your design.

I usually build "toilet blocks" in the yard aswell as "shower blocks" so they can do theese stuff while in yard time.

y i do the same but in another way

my canteen has a large area with bottom shower and common room interieur but still zoned as a canteen
evryone who has no hunger is looking for his other needs

in shower rooms i added toilets

and my holding cell square is surrounded by a shower with toilets in zone and cells+ solitary are the borders of the holding cell foundatiion
