Where is all of this distrust comming from? A lot of people seem quite doubtful that the game will be finished.

I actually completely legitly downloaded the game and my game looks exactly like that, its all dark and at first i thought it was stuck in utilities mode but its not, i cant find anything to do with this on the alpha forums at all. Please help if anyone knows how to fix it
