Problems activating your key?

Hey

I purchased the game a month or so ago

The key doesn't want to activate for me on steam.

Direct download works fine, and yes i do know that i was given a non steam key, and a steam key.

The steam key isn't working.

Hey,

So I grabbed the game after it was a HumbleBundle last week, added the steam key and downloaded the game.

Steam now pops up with a message saying (something like) "You will need to enter the following key into the game when prompted: xxxx".

I've seen no such prompt, game is working fine, just wondering if I'm missing something, or if I only need the key when downloading the game outside of Steam?

The key is for activating your account to get access to the Developer forum, wiki and bug tracker.

Hi,
I got the same problem.
I activated the game on steam and played already a few months. But there is no CD Key for registering in the developer forum. I do a right-click on Prison Architect but it doesn't show up. Even when I start the game there is no pop up message.
What am I doing wrong?

The key is your cd-key, which can be accessed by right clicking on the game in the steam browser and selected 'view CD key'. You then need to follow the steps listed at http://support.introversion.co.uk/customer/portal/articles/871540-how-to-activate-your-account.

Thanks. This has relieved my headach when I launsch my game in steam and get the "here is your register code" message.
