The darwinia mods are in my personal webspace of which i get 75mb and probably quite a low monthly usage. Up until now nothings been taken offline and i've not had letters from my isp, so i guess all is hunky dory. However, if people start creating sites and lists and hotlinking to my archive then bandwidth usage is gonna rise. This in turn could get the site taken down, and i'm sure thats not what we want.
With that in mind my only request would be to only link to the actual page. I have no objection at all to anyone making rival lists, ratings pages etc etc, even complete archives, but its not good to create a list and feed off my bandwidth.
If someone makes an all in one archive with ratings and fancy jiggery pokery stuff, and is committed to it and keeps it up to date, then i'd happily take mine offline too. The ONLY reason i felt i needed to create mine was cos all the others at the time were woefully incomplete and didn't seem to have any hands on maintenance.
And so far that situation hasn't changed.
Good luck to anyone who does make a neat mod site.
Nice modlist, but...

It's just raw data, I'd hope anyone who wanted it could use it/take it/adapt it to their needs. RE those particular things, like I say, I'd actually just remove that column and make 4 seperate sections. You're lucky I didn't give 0-3 for the versions and length as well. The main reason I was inclined to use numbers was to make it simpler to feed into some form of script - it's just the way I think when making data files anyway.
