Maybe there's a Spawn Point on the other side of the island they need to operate? :D

(that's one to make into an Officer, and five to run it)

Are you allowed to sell the darwinians? I thought one's not allowed to sell copyrighted material without consent from the owner, in this case IV.

Of course, if IV has nothing against it, then neither do I.

They do look really cool, by the way.

It's part of a scheme for IV world domination - hook the toddlers on the fluffy toys and when they grow up there'll be transference to the games.

Asking IV was the first thing I did. I was told that they wish they'd had these made instead of the rubber ones to throw out at the GDCsince these would have hurt less when they'd been thrown back!

In fact, Mark (from IV) already has one, and I mailed one out to xander today, mainly as demos to see how much it costs to send them.

With a little bit of rounding up, it looks like 10 pounds, 16 euros and 20 dollars respectively when P&P is added to the equation, which is pretty much what I was expecting/hoping for; I don't have any figures for sending things to EU countries but it can't be any more than America, so 16 euros is probably about right.

Look, you have two options: (a) you could convince your parents to lighten up a little, and give out your address so that something can be shipped to you, or (b) you can wait until you are old enough to handle it on your own. There is little need to keep bringing up your parental system on the boards because (a) most of us don't really care and (b) there isn't a damn thing we can do about it, anyway.

Question; do people want little labels on them saying what they are and that sort of thing, or would they prefer labelless toys? I've always prefered the idea of not having a label on them since it pretty much ruins the look, but having a label makes it feel a bit more professional, which to be frank would probably help, and lets me number them (xander has number 5!)

Anyway projects I'm looking at having a go at next are officers, a possibly one off spore generator, and spiders.

Is there a market for Red Darwinians? I could probably give them little devil forks if that pleases you... some squeaky engineers perhaps?

Either way, watch this space for Green Darwinians, hopefully they'll start becoming available soon.
