Does it give any kind of error or create a blackbox file? Also, do you really have empty lines in your file near the script triggers, or is that just an effect of cutting and pasting?

no. It also took away the send problem to mircosoft window. Now it just shuts down and returns me to windows.

...Did you read all of the the email I sent the other day?

You forgot to include your custom textures for map_sr.txt :P


Change this section:

landColourFile landscape_containment.bmp
wavesColourFile waves_genarator.bmp
waterColourFile water_icecaps.bmp

to:

landColourFile landscape_default.bmp
wavesColourFile waves_default.bmp
waterColourFile water_default.bmp

...and I'll bet that fixes your problem. :D

Actually, she could just spell "generator" properly... The textures that she is using are included in main.dat, so, if they are spelt correctly, she would have any trouble using them. I can't believe I missed that...

Also, make your map a square, or the waves won't line up properly.

The reason I said that, without even reading the texture names, is because the mod I was sent didn't have a textures directory. I should have noticed it too. 8P

Don't worry about it. In early versions of Insurrection, I spelt "annihilation" with only one "n". It took me a day and a half to find all of the places where it was misspelt.

I am sure that BBEdit would let me do that, but I am not sure how. Also, the file names were causing more problems than the content of the files. Insurrection has a lot of files.

um, with 'find' and 'sed', you could have done it in a minute. But, well, whatever works for you. I suppose I should actually finish a proper mod before I start criticizing
