Rockets?
Hi! I want to make a rocket in one of my maps but the game can´t find the escape-rocket shape. Is there a way to get it??

If you download demo2, you can extract the rocket.shp, and several other files relating to it (the fuel pump system, etc.), and add them to your mod.
Simple instructions:
1) Download the demo2, and install it.
2) Rename the demo2's main.dat to main.rar
3) Extract the files (rar files are like zip files - try WinRAR if you can't open it) - maintain file/directory structure
4) look in the 'data/shapes' directory for:
fuelgenerator.shp
fuelgeneratorpump.shp
fuelpipe.shp
fuelpipebase.shp
fuelstation.shp
rocket.shp
5) in your full game directory, create a 'data' directory, and inside that (and inside your mod directory, since you'll have to distribute the new files with your mod), create a 'shapes' directory within the 'data' dir. Dump all the above listed files into the 'shapes' dir(s).
6) Easiest way to get the associated sounds: dump the whole 'sounds' dir from demo2's sounds.dat file into the full game 'data' dir - easier than sorting out which ones you'd need (there's quite a few, actually) - though you will eventually have to sort them out, since you'll have to package the missing ones with your mod (in a 'sounds' dir within the mod's main dir). Sounds.txt in main.dat should help you sort them out - or just simple process of elimination by comparing the full game's sounds.dat to the demo2's sounds.dat.
7) Nab fuel.bmp, and put it in 'data/textures' (as well as 'textures' in your mod's dir).
Hopefully IV will include those files in the next patch, as it's kind of annoying to have to do that.
Edit: clarified a few things.
Edit2: Put down the crack pipe, and fixed a few things that were blatantly wrong.

Are you joking ? No more crack for you! Mind you, in the long list of required features and fixes, it ranks somewhere not too far below a German translation and a difficulty system, so you never know.

...Yeah, but it would take a whole thirty seconds of work, really, to add them to the next patch - and there has to be one soon, with all the people complaining about the turret bug... and before Xmas, too, since the Xmas menu selector thingy is overlapped by the Difficulty dropdown box now.
