...Apparently so easy that it's taken you over a year to figure out how to do it.

Now, now, trickfred. No reason to be rude. Anyway, its been more like 16 months.

I didn't realize you were promoted to the Politeness Police! And 16 months does, I believe, fall into the category of 'over a year'. :P

Well, of course, I promoted myself to that rank just yesterday. I also claim to be King of All Ameobas, but they don't listen very well. :(

I want a rank too!

Can I be Captain Procrastinator? Or leader of the Lemon Meringue Pie Defense Force?

I can't let you take the position of Captain Procrastinator, as my sister has held that rank for well nigh 10 years now. However, would like a position as Brigadier General of the Lemon Meringue Pi Defense Force? You will be paid 3.14 pies per annum, as well as 22/7 lemons.

Pfft. 10 years. I've been procrastinating for three times that long!

(And I'm not a very good pie defender. I've already eaten a slice... )

Don't beat yourself up over it now, just... make good mods. That should make up for it. :D

Waa~! So many replies! Sheesh.

Anyway, I've not been doing much work on this the last week-and-a-half, on account of several other things -- friends, summer work, other hobbies, etc. -- but I do intend to continue sometime soonish.

Man, you are a paranoid little fellow aren't you?

Let me rephrase in a way that should satisfy the tinfoil hat. I meant from this point on, now that you're on your own, take advantage of the fact that you've found scripting to be easy, and make some good mods. :D

And actually, I've only played 1-2 of your non-scripted mods - sorry, but ugh, I find most non-scripted stuff boring because I don't really see the point - and the first 1-2 levels of whatever your first 'big mod' part was with TGF - it didn't seem to flow very well, IIRC.

(Have we totally hijacked this thread, or what??)

Looks like a great start...I'll keep a look out for it.

"I know what you mean...between summer vacation and outdoor projects, it's caught up with me and completion of the second part of my mod. Still clicking away it though."

paranoid is my middle name, well; actually it's david but... uh yeah.

Yeah, my non scripted ones suck don't they - maybe I'll script them someday? :D

The first big mod was The MaintanenceSYS (infamously spelt wrong).

Ugh. No work is getting done on this at the moment, mostly on account of this three-day, rough-out, unwilling, camping exile that my parents are making me go to from tomorrow until late afternoon on Saturday. No Darwinia -- and no real technology -- within miles.
