No Mods for Me...

Postby Vondre » Mon Jun 19, 2006 4:12 pm

I have tried to download many of the mods, and none of them have workedd. I get a sttring of random symbols for about an entire page. I suspect it's a problem with my browser's ability to download .rar files. Could anyone point me to some different types of downloads or a way to fix my problem?

Telling us what browser you use might be useful.

Trying an alternate browser might comfirm/dismiss your suspicions.

I assume you have WinRAR or a .rar-compatible decompression program installed, and the .rar extension properly associated with said program?

And does right-clicking and saving the file not work?

Here ...

I zipped mine in zip format. Try this... don't forget to start each mod with a New Profile.

You should get WinRAR ... it will unzip All formats.

Why would you download it from there, when you could get it from the software's homepage??

Never trust Google.

They are tracking everything you are doing on the net. (keystrokers) They plan to sell that information to advertisers and other markets. There was a big write up about it in Wired Mag a couple months ago as well as even on the TV News. When I heard that I dumped everything Google. If you have that Google browser buddy called "world something" they are tied right into the types of pages you visit and or things you buy on the net.

Death to Google...

Well said, Lowell. Everyone has an agenda - it just may not be immediately obvious.
