.shp file exporter in 3ds MAX 7

dose any one know how to work sharp files.


these is were you can get the sharpe files.

Very carefully. You have to be careful, or you are likely to get cut. I would suggest using dull files, instead.

Now, to answer your question:
1) The exporter that IV created works with 3D Studio Max 5. Five, not seven. I will not work with 7. Sorry. You will have to find a copy of 3DSM5, or write your own plugin for 3DSM7.

3) If you want to try to figure it out by hand, you could always read through Nihil's shape file guide and hack it with a text editor. Some knowledge of mathematics and 3d Cartesian coordinates will help.

You can try my modified version of the .ASE to .shp converter.

If that doesn't work... You can pm me a copy of a 3DSMax 7 exported .ase file and I'll modify the converter to fit it's needs.
