I just spent some time trying to get past the same "not unique" error. I had commented out the buildings in my map_ file and there were none in the mission_, but I still got the error. I finally realised that the conflict was with a global building in game.txt -- just one more place to look if you're running into this error starting the game, and another reason to keep game.txt clean
