I've never seen much appreciation... And insult to cover it up.

I've been around long enough to get away with it. Besides, we're all pompous pricks at heart.

What I'll do for 0.9.7 is make the objective uncompletable (like quite a few of the other objectives...) - there's a script trigger over the objective that does the work (because I hate game.txt for the 2 part missions)
OK, fun mod, great landscapes especially, but...what the heck am I supposed to do at Darlington? I do not get the plot here at all, and the objective says something about a time warp. Plus, I can't find my "squadie". ??
Thanks for your help.

You don't have a Squadie in that level. If you read the text, it explained what was going on. You're following the other guy you met in an earlier level, controlling an engineer. That should be enough of a hint to get you going.

Right...
I guess I better fix up Stricken for 1.3
(Mainly in light of the new red Darwinian behavoir)
And also to make sure people experience 1337
gold armour in Ghost_Capital o_o

I'm sure no one cares much now, but;
I finally did 1.3
You don't require a new profile to experience the changes in this update (1.3) - only Ghost Capital was changed really - the version change was just to confirm the relative Darwinia compatibility.
There are potentially game stopping uber bugs I suppose - but I don't think there are, so I'm releasing it now! If there ARE, be assured I'll fix them in some way, probably! Very little has actually changed, so, it's unlikely to have caused any issues.
Stricken 1.3 <-- Rar (867k)
Stricken 1.3 <-- Zip (1.2Meg)
Assume all mirrors are out of date until stated otherwise.
edit - that said, it's perfectly possible that Darwinia will explode with a Stricken 1.0 profile...

with the 1.3 release i played through stricken souls again. it's surprisingly varied using only a single squaddie (for the most part), challenging and a heap of fun, bravo The GoldFish for a great mod.
