Introversion

Hello I installed Wine 1.2.1 and I managed to install Darwinia 1.42 and it opens fine initially but when I try to open a level I get the following error:

ERROR : 'DirectSound ERROR

C:\Development\Darwinia\code\sound\sound_library_3d_dsound.cpp line 1141



Direct sound couldn't set fx

Error Code : DSERR_CONTROLUNAVAIL

The control (vol, pan, etc.) requested by the caller is not available'

Can someone help me resolve this please I'm not sure what to do.

Is there any special reason you're not trying the native Linux version?

I couldn't get the native linux version to work on my computer. I guess it's ironic that I originally could not get the windows version to work either. I managed to figure it out tho so no worries:)
