60fps and jerky on Fedora5 (x86_64, ATI X700)

Postby kr4m3r » Wed Aug 16, 2006 10:54 pm

A few seconds after i start darinia the video becomes jerky, when i first start its fine. The graphics menu says im getting 60-70fps. Im useing 32bit DRI and fglrx modules, and my (re)memory never fills up. Is there something i forgot to do? As i said in the title im useing an ATI X700 and a x86_64.

Hi,
i have a NVidia Geforce 6800GT.
I had only 40 fps with this card under linux.

After deactivating AIGLX in xorg.conf in fedora core 6, i get a performance boost,
This boost you can also see with glxgears.
