Game crashes on loading Receiver level

Postby maxol » Mon Aug 22, 2005 6:04 pm

I started playing this level and closed the game down normally. Now when I run Darwinia and try to load Receiver it starts to load and then the game exits.

Here is my blackbox.txt

Any ideas how to overcome this? I'd like to finish the game.

Please could you tar up your ~/.darwinia directory and send it to me at john@introversion.co.uk

Code: Select all

$ cd
$ tar czf ~/darwinia.tar.gz  .darwinia

Thanks

I've got the same problem - "started playing the receiver level and closed the game down normally. Now when I run Darwinia and try to load Receiver it starts to load and then the game exits."

Any fix for this problem?

Thanks

Any fix for this problem?

First, you should probably not post to old topics. It is generally considered bad manners. However, you are new here, so ignorance can be forgiven.

Secondly, you have not provided a lot of information for anyone to go on. What version of Darwinia are you running? What kind of hardware? What version of Linux? It is very hard to solve problems without that information. If Darwinia created a blackbox.txt file, posting that would be helpful. You can find that in ~/.darwinia/ .

Finally, under the assuption that you are running Darwinia 1.3, have you read the thread on squaddie crashes?
