I've made it available here. Please try it and let me know if it works OK, so I can replace the current downloads with this version.

Yes, that appears to be working (although I had to manually edit preferences.txt to change the graphics settings).

How do you mean? Do you mean that it failed to put up a graphics window without any preferences.txt?

It doesn't save changes to graphics when at the main menu. Apart from that, it's been running seemingly fine for the last hour or two.

*Edit:* It is saving screen settings, just resetting the resolution when the program can't use the resolution.
