mission receiver seems buggy ?

Postby Wh1sper » Sun Apr 03, 2005 4:19 pm

Hi, I wonder if this is a linux only Issue.
A few days ago I received the Game from tuxgames.
In the mission receiver there comes suddenly a big yellow flash. For a short time there is nothing to see after that I am not able to select a task or create new squads. nothing but restart helps..
This happens EVERY time I play this mission....

My system is a AMD 32 debian SID system with Nvidia 6600GT.
More infos if requested.
thanks Bernd

I wonder if this is related to this issue from the beta?

But, if other linux-users are solved this level it means the problem is sittig in front of the computer?

Look at the topic of the post that I linked to. His screen is turning / flashing yellow, much like yours. The rest of the discussion is about screenshots. I suppose that I could have been more clear. I was just trying to keep things tied together...

Edit: This happened to me for the first time this morning. I was playing Temple. While I was moving a sqaud into position, and firing lasers, the screen flashed yellow. The flash began to fade, but was replaced by another flash before it completely faded. This continued until I quit the game.

Thanks for clearing this out. So I'll try it again and wait for other messages from users with same problems.
I'll take a look if there ARE any screenshots when I am at home again :?: it could be the red line to solve this issue....
