VT corruption nvidia resolution change

When changing resolution in full screen with nvidia drivers, firstly the game does not change res correctly, as reported elsewhere.

After this has happened all VTs go black. I have reproduced this twice but really dont like rebooting my box, and am now without VTs, which is very annoying.

This is a nvidia issue, but it can probably be avoided in darwinia, and it would be nice if we could tell nvidia what they got wrong.

I have not been able to produce this with beta 5, I hope it never happens again, if someone knows what changed that might affect this they may want to let nvidia know.
