Swapped Stereo

Postby fraxen » Fri Dec 31, 2004 4:45 am

The stereo channels seem to be swapped when run on my system. This doesn't happen in Windows and I've confirmed that the SoundSwapStereo option is set to 0 in the preferences file.

Hmmm, upon double checking it seems this does happen in Windows as well.
My bad.

Are your speakers attached correctly? Does it happen in other applications as well? And isn't this what the SoundSwapStereo option is for? :)

I've never had this problem before either in Windows or Linux and my setup hasn't changed.

The purpose of the stereo swap option is really just if you have an unusual speaker setup isn't it? I know it's a simple change to make in the audio options but it is a bit odd that I should need to swap the channels for a standard speaker setup.
