first if isnt possible seems the 4d is smoother then 4c was..
but this is an report of xinerama bugs. that is they are still here.
the forward movement turning to the right is still there.
but seems only to happen if i touch my mouse.
the mouse warping to the right, when trying to use the task manager is still there. i can most around the task manager w/ out my mouse and works fine.
if i move the mouse alot, and the game is windowed my mouse can escape to my other screen. ok playing with the game more. seems if the game is windowed and i move the mouse quickly and get another window focused then my mouse can escape, bet this isnt so much a xinerama thing as window focus.. guess it's not really a bug, as if i move the mouse smoothly it stays in the window.
about my box, i have an GeForce3 Ti 200, as my primary screen, the other is to the left of that, it doesnt have GL drivers, have not had a game work on that screen.

xinerama is an extension for XFree86 to use the two (or more) physical displays as one large virtual display.
so if you have two video cards and two monitors, you could have one large virtual display.
i first saw this effect on an mac, maybe a decade ago..
Im betting the bugs we are seeing realated to it are bugs in SDL. SDL is kind of like directx but for linux and other platforms.

Kinda figured it had to do with duel display, but i didn't wanna shoot my mouth off and make an idiot of myself. Thanks for the xplain
I have a feeling that they arn't SDLs fault but more the usage of SDL if anything. OpenGL isn't easy to get right, if you're going for efficiency and quality. So far i think intro is doing a great job

Considering you also have xinerama with your right screen as your screen for darwinia, do you have the same issues as me? (http://forums.introversion.co.uk/darwinia/viewtopic.php?t=1087)

sure does sound what is happening to mine too.
but i found that if i switch my XFree86 config to a single screen. then i dont have the problem.
so it seems to be an xinerama issue.
the older verion i could play darwinia in a window, where as with 4d i can't.
what used to happen is i could switch to the task manager and move around with the keys, and then quckly switch in and out of task manager, i could use the mouse, with out it warping like that.
now i can't the mouse is always warped.
