"leave location" bug in 4d

Postby ixplode » Sat Dec 25, 2004 5:19 am

I dunno exactly what the "leave location" button is (it appears when you hit escape) but as the good beta tester i am, i clicked it and it crashed. I was in FS mode and i couldn't alt tab or anything, i had to restart xdm.

It gave a blackbox, but this time it didn't even indicate that it tried a gdb stack trace. Also, as for the question in another thread about GDB being in my path, it's in /usr/bin which is in my path. So i don't know why it's not using gdb. Anyway, what the blackbox does dump is:

Code: Select all

Edit #1: This error happend the first time i launched the game, and i went back in and messed around with the preferences a bit and exit and reset (which do the same thing) both work now. No matter if im in windowed mode or not.

Edit #2: I believe this error to be the same GLX error i'm getting here except for some reason, sometimes the game can actually close itself, and other times it just hangs without doing anything and i have to restart x.

Also, things still seem, sometimes, to take multiple clicks to register in this version.

Leave location is just the new name for exit, so this is just another example of darwinia not exiting cleanly, please try not to post duplicate bugs and use a seperate thread for each bug you report.
