Esc does nothing

Dr. Sepulveda told me to press escape to exit out of the first level, but when I pressed it nothing happened. Command-Q quits out of the game.

I'm running on an iMac G4 800Mhz, 768 MB RAM, OS 10.2.8

Esc is supposed to bring up the menu, not sure why you're not getting it. I'll leave that to a maccite

That's very strange. Are you using any programs that play with keyboard settings? Or a DVORAK keyboard? Anything else that might be unusual about your setup?

No, there's nothing unusual about my keyboard. It's a standard Mac keyboard. However, I have discovered that pressing ctrl-esc brings up the menu to leave location/reset location/options, so I'm fine.
