Collision with landscape causes entrapment and teleportation

OK, I came out of the profile window after turning off the GL Finish setting, to see what it woulod do, and first thing I did was collide sideways into some landscape, which got me stuck beneath it. I looked around and could only see the sky, or black, couldn't move up or down, but still had lateral movement, so I decided to take a spin, and off ni the distance saw some slight orange, which I headed for, only to find myself back at the level after a bit of travelling, but stuck under sea level.

Very strange teleportation bug!

OK, turns out I'm bound only to ground level, not beneath sea level.. it's like I'm walking, i stick to any ground surface, but can no longer 'fly'
