Gestures maddenly difficult

I'm not sure what's causing the problem, but I find the gestures to be extremely difficult. Although my dexterity has never been a problem in the past, and I have used gestures occasionally to control my Mac, the ones in Darwinia are very difficult.

For some reason, I have to redraw the figures five to 10 times before they finally take. It would appear to be problem with mouse sensitivity/tracking. When I attempt to draw the triangle for example, the representation has a slight curvature here and there no matter how carefully I attempt to render it.

I will plink around with my settings to see if I can work around the problem. However, it would be unfortunate if one had to reset mouse tracking every time one wanted to play the GM version of the game.

Gestures seem very difficult to work. I have gotten squad, and manager, but not engineer. Engineer is impossible for me to gesture. I am tired of trying. I have tried my scroll pad and my mouse, both are impossible.

Use tiny movements with the mouse - they seem to get amplified in the Gesture Window.

Also going outside the circle tends to ruin the gesture.

The only gesture I have trouble with is the airstrike gesture. It takes me three or four tries to get it right. Perhaps you could change it to a square?

In testing the new, Beta 4d, the gestures problem is apparently fixed.

I do not know if this is specific to the beta that I'm testing, but the Controller does not appear to work. It either says "Syntax Error" or it does not allow me to place it anywhere.

I believe the Controller is fired by the squad.

Okay, now it works. The gesture was giving me trouble.
