Using "p" to take screenshots doesn't work

Postby UberBuckley » Thu Oct 28, 2004 6:46 am

Well, if almost works. Pressing p in Darwinia creates files named screenshotx.bmp (Where x is the number of the screenshot), but there are two problems with it:

1. It saves the images in the application package, which isn't a very obvious place for users to look for them.

2. They won't open in anything. I even tried the GIMP (Both the OS X and X11 versions), and it reported to me that the files are not valid bmp files.

I posted this in the Mac forum because Windows users don't seem to have a problem with their screenshots. It seems to be a Mac-only problem.

I can verify this, it doesn't work properly for me either.

Fixed this in our development build [endian problem]. Should work on next beta release.
