Preferences problem, save problem

hi,
I buy darwinia on steam.
I create a user.
The problem: Configuration keys are not saved, i have only the default config. Game save are not saved.
- I use "security" and "All users" are all permissions.
- Darwinia run in compatibility mode (XP sp2), if i don't use this mode sound config and graphics config are not loaded (and not save).
- If i use "run in administrator" mode (down the compatibility mode), darwinia not work (launch steam problem).
My Config: AMD ATHLON 3800x2, 4go ram DDR, 2 hards drives (games in 2nd hard drive), NVidia 7600GT-256, Vista pro 32 (all update)
