Introversion

I've had this problem a number of times. Currently, I am playing Pattern Buffer and I cannot create units.
If I hit 'F2' to create an engineer, the icon comes up in the task manager and the control points light up,
but if I click in their creat areas, nothing happens. No sound, no 'syntax error', nothing I can detect. It
stays in 'create engineer mode' as if I did not click anywhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Quit Darwinia and restart it. There is a bug in Darwinia that prevents you from making units after you have been playing for a while.
