Can't Install Patch v1.5.11

Hi!
I've got a problem with the Patch v1.5.11 . I can't install it, because the patch can't detect directx 9.0c .
Of course, I have directX 9.0c, but I tried to install it again, but it helped nothing.

Is this problem popular? If it is, Im sorry, I couldn't find it with the search function.

Maybe you understand after this sentences, why I would like play the German translation

Are you sure you installed the latest update of Directx 9.0c (the installer check for a very recent version)?

Same problem here.
Wouldn't install on my machine with Athlon X2 and XP pro with latest DirectX 9c.
Moved game to machine with Intel P4 and XP Home and works OK.
Suspect the issue would be the processor difference and not the OS.

RED_STORM, what is your processor?

It doesn't seem very likely at all to me that it's related to the processor. Try downloading this DirectX update (with Optional Extra Components - which I believe you'll need anyway) just to ensure that it isn't simply to do with what it claims (as frenchfrog has suggested).

I'm having the same problem. The latest patch won't install, so I downloaded the DirectX update the installer took me to (which is the same as the above poster's) and the updater doesn't work. It says it's downloading DirectX 9.0 SDK Update (October 2005) but never begins to download, and eventually gives a "installation failed" error. My friend is having the same problem as well.

I can't install that patch too and I'm running WinXP Home on an AMD Athlon single core. The solvery is to just install the 1.42 patch.
