Windows, Steam, and a Mighty Mouse

Postby djmccormick » Tue Nov 14, 2006 3:39 am

I've just bought Darwinia, Uplink, and Defcon through Valve's "Steam" platform. The problem is that I'm using a Mighty Mouse and am unable to use both the left and right click at the same time. I'm aware this has been mentioned before in the Mac issues forum, however the situation is unique in that I don't believe I am able to change to single-button mode with the Steam version. Do I have any option besides hooking up a different mouse to my computer? As this seems to be a fairly common issue, I think a lot of us Mac users would appreciate an in-game option for this.

I'm having a lot of fun with the games otherwise... keep up the great work guys :)

For Darwinia: Open up preferences.txt, and change the following line:

Code: Select all

ControlMouseButtons = 3

to

Code: Select all

ControlMouseButtons = 1

Click and hold to emulate a right-click.
