FPS COunter in corner

Darwinia runs completely fine for me but for some strange reason there is a fps counter in the top right hand corner. I'm trying to get some nice screenshots of the game but can't cos of the counter. Whats caused it to appear and how can I make it go away.

You must have pushed the keyboard shortcut that produces the FPS count to appear. I can't remember the key so either press each of them one by one until it disappears or look under options.

You have an FPS counter? You must not be playing with the most recent patch, since it's been disabled as of... whatever patch introduced the icon system, maybe even earlier than that. Check your version on the 'Other Options', and download v1.42. You'll be glad you did!

(BTW, v1.3 is when we lost the FPS counter - is there ever a chance we'll get it back?)

If that is the FPS counter from Darwinia, and not some third party app, you can just hit [F5] to dismiss it. You can also find an option to disable the counter in one of the drop-downs across the top. However, as trickfred said, if you have an FPS counter, you must be using a version of Darwinia lower than 1.3, as it was removed at that point (why?! I want it back!).
